• Classroom issues                 • Family learning

• Change in family circumstances — bereavement, parent separation etc.

• Friendship issues                  • Homework concerns

• Health concerns.

• Signposting to other agencies — School Nurse, CAMHS etc.

• SATs concerns                      • Transfer to High School

How can you contact us?

You can contact us via the school office either fill in a purple slip and leave it with the office staff who will pass it on or call on 020 8669 2514.

We will also be holding regular coffee mornings and drop-in sessions where you can discuss any issues or questions you may have or just fancy a chat.

Here to lend a helping hand

We really hope that you will find this service an invaluable addition to our school in supporting you and your children to enable them to fully engage and maximise their opportunities for personal development , emotional wellbeing and educational achievement.

ELSA

Emotional Literacy Support Assistants

Our Emotional Literacy Support Assistants (ELSA) are trained to support children in helping them to understand and cope with their feelings.

In particular our ELSA can help children with:

  • Recognising their Emotions
  • Emotional Wellbeing
  • Social Skills
  • Friendship skills
  • Anger Management
  • Loss and bereavement

Children will be seen in small groups or individually and activities will be tailored to that group or child. Sessions are fun and might include role play, puppets, board games, art and stories.

Please feel free to contact Ms. Nicol if you have any questions.
