Accra (Year 2)

 Welcome to Accra class page 

Our topic this half term is Land Ahoy! We are learning about the Christopher Columbus and his explorations. In English we are looking at fictional stories and non-fiction books about the seaside. In maths we are practising adding and subtracting ones and tens.

 

 

In PE we are learning about gymnastics and how to use our bodies to create motion. Please can you ensure that your child has their full PE kit in school at all times.

 

Homework:
Please complete one activity from the home learning grid every week or you may choose to complete a project which should take 6 weeks. Homework books will go out on a Friday and should be handed back in on Wednesdays. It is very important to read every day and practise your spellings.
