All children must ensure to wear the correct uniform each day. The year 1 winter uniform consists of a white shirt, a school tie, a blue jumper/cardigan, grey trousers/skirt, grey/black socks and black shoes. Jumpers and ties can be purchased from the school. Each child should also come to school with a coat and school bag each day.
We have PE lessons every Monday and Wednesday morning.
Our PE kit should have a yellow t-shirt, blue shorts/tracksuit bottoms and plimsolls/trainers.
Our reading book should be brought in every morning so Mrs Crane and Miss Conway can check for fantastic reading progress.
Home learning books are sent home every Friday and need to be brought back into school by the following Wednesday so they can be marked and a Homework Hero can be chosen for the week.
We take part in English, Maths, Phonics and handwriting lessons every day as well as focusing on Science, History, Geography, Art and DT as topic lessons once per half term.
If you're a parent/carer, please make sure you sign up to class dojo to receive regular updates and pictures about all of the fun things we're getting up to everyday in year one!
