Yesterday, we went on our first trip of the school year! We walked down to Carshalton Ponds, looking for physical and human features on the way-we found lots of different examples! We then had a look at the war memorials before having a run around in Grove Park. We then caught the bus back to school. It was a fun but tiring morning for all!

In our first week of Yr1, we had lots of fun experimenting with the three primary colours-red, yellow and blue. The end product we created was a map of the local area, with the different colours showing different types of land use.
